# 128476. 3 owner Porsche. Another great feature, I could not find any rust. This was a California car most of it’s life. I was amazed how smooth everything worked when I drove it for the first time. I’m not sure at this point if it’s original paint or not? I was told that it is an original Ruby red car that has had minor touchup paint, and also that this is a rare accident free and rust free vehicle. My body guy said the fit was great and he felt that it had never been hit. We installed the original steering wheel and seat belts. We had the original seats rebuilt and reupholstered and installed. This makes the Porsche look a lot better and it’s all stock now. The only bad thing we could find in the body was the bottom of the battery box has been replaced, I’m sure from battery acid and not rust. This Porsche was originally equipped with a 1600 cc four-cylinder split case 85 hp engine with 8.5:1 compression pistons, dual Solex carbs, 6 volt electrical system and four-wheel disc brakes. The engine has been completely rebuilt by a master Porsche engine rebuilder. Now it has 1750 cc cylinder heads and 9.1:1 Pistons, modified cam with dual Weber carbs. The case #s do not match. Koni shock absorbers. Joe at Old School Garage did the service and safety check on this Porsche. Joe knows these cars very well and has done an excellent job making sure that everything is in very good order. If you have any questions I’m sure Joe would be happy to answer them for you. What a great find. I have been having a great time driving the 356. It would be very easy to keep this Porsche. It may not be nice enough for a purest but you might not find one as nice. In the photos note the California registration from 1978. I would tell you to come and inspect it for yourself.

Retranscription des paroles de la vidéo: hi I’m Jerry drer dreer’s International classic sales in Seattle Washington we’re here at dreer’s Clubhouse to show you a car that we don’t normally get I mean we do Fords and Chevys and old flatheads and things like that but i’ very seldom ever get into a foreign car I went to the man’s place to look at the Mustang convertible and I ended up buying the Mustang and a Corvette and this Porsche from him now he owned this car he bought it down in California and then he moved up here to the Seattle area and this is where I bought it uh this car is lived in the Palmdale area for most of its life I have a registration that goes all the way back to 1977 from uh Lancaster which is right next door to Palmdale so it’s been in the high desert country almost its whole life and uh it is uh I think a lot of its original paint we’ve looked this over and I know it’s been touched up in places we actually touched up on this side over here a little bit but I got to tell you I this is an incredible car it’s it’s like a Survivor car it’s but it hasn’t it has the engine cases don’t match on it so for you Pius that’s not going to work but the engine’s been re rebuilt the Maestro’s uh little spec book uh I was told this gentleman here is the one that rebuilt the engine in it I don’t know that for Absolut Absolut sure I know it runs and drives great I the thing feels good when you drive it it’s fun to drive down the road whether it’s straight or on a crooked Road it just handles really really well I’m not going to tell you it’s a show car even though it looks good you’re going to see flaws and the paint and and everything but boy they don’t stand out very much I mean this this car is an incredible car you’re going to get thumbs up wherever you are I want to tell you we have looked this car over I had my painter look it over this car is beautiful we can see that in the roof here it’s getting a little thin in the paint we think it’s probably original paint uh we did some touch-up on this side there were some spots on both sides of the door on the front and rear we’re not sure what it was but we had this I had this uh repainted along here it just needed it it’s beautiful now I mean it just was the worst thing on here and it didn’t show up very well I mean you might have seen photos of this car and you couldn’t tell that it had a problem I mean this thing just it’s really really nice now I walk across the front here and this is where I can see that it’s it’s old because there’s pitting along here from you know rock chips and that sort of stuff and some of it’s brush touched in there’s a little spot right there I mean it’s just minor you don’t even notice it unless you’re looking at it but you can see all the rock chips in there now that means to me this is old paint I mean I can see them all along through here so I think I think that it probably is original paint that’s been touched up in places I see a a long scratch Mark right there so it’s not perfect but it’s very very nice this side we haven’t done anything too this is just the way it came in and uh you can see there’s some dents in the hub cap and on the same on the other side there’s some dents in the hubc cap there there’s a little spot that’s been brush touched I saw another spot here there’s a little shipping the paint there’s another little spot there’s another spot you know I mean there’s some spots in it this has got a crack in the windshield right there it just goes to here but it’s there just so you know there’s a little spot right there I mean this thing looks great a little scratch Mark right there another little spot a couple little spots I mean for the most part I don’t think you’re going to find much in here anywhere this hubc cap is better than the front one so I mean it may not be a show car but it sure looks great again here of course we got this rack I know nothing about Porsche particularly so I don’t know what these badges mean or anything else but they’re on there and the luggage rack is on there and it looks good it goes with the car uh we have the original bumpers with the hole in it for the exhaust we have the original exhaust system so you get that with this car so you it’s got the whole exhaust system I mean this car is really nice across here just everything looks great just looks really really nice now to open the hood on this thing I call it the hood and it’s back here there’s a little lever right here on the side you just pull that out and then you can just lift this up and you lift it all the way up and drop it back down and it it latches right there and you can just lift it up again and drop her down now this engine compartment is as you can see in the engine is very very clean the cases do not match so for your Pierce this is not going to work for you it also has Weber carbs on it the engine has been completely rebuilt I don’t know how many miles ago but you can see how clean and nice it is and it it’s got 1,700 heads on it now and it just runs great to open up the hood you got to reach in here underneath the dash and there’s a little lever there to pull out so I can open the the hood and you got a little safety lever right there you got to lift up and this works the same as front and back you just lift it up and it latches in place and you can see it’s clean in here we’ve got the spare tire here with a leather belt I’m sure that’s a different leather belt than the original I think this probably lifts out so we can see what’s underneath here and you can see there’s the original gas tank as you can see this is all the original in Here original matting and stuff and there’s your uh plate right here the numbers on it Jack here’s the rest of the Jack information here’s the pad piece to slide in to uh put your Jack underneath and lift it up and you can see the bottom of this is good this piece here has been replaced battery acid I’m sure that’s why it’s been replaced cuz again we couldn’t find any rust in this car anywhere I think you’d be very happy with the condition of this car the underside is really clean you can see uh just just the way it came in of course you saw all this was really clean and you saw the original matting in there which wasn’t beautiful but it’s original so this car has really really had a good life and they just Lift This Hood up and and bring it down and oops there we go now it’s shut I just reach underneath the uh Dash here in the corner and there’s a lever to open the gas cap you can see right there the cap and everything just push her back down now when I bought this car it had high back seats in here and they were kind of ugly but but he also had the original seats with it and so I had these seats the bases all re built and and everything and then reupholstered so the seats are all like new on here and then the steering wheel it had had a different steering wheel on it and this is the original steering wheel that came with a car so it all looks real good and of course you can see all the gauges crossed here the radio does not work clock does not work the heater control is right here and it works good I was using it we do not have a key for this to lock the the uh uh shifter I sure wouldn’t want to ride in here little jump seats but they’re there they’re good I don’t think anything’s happened to them you can just see that’s all original nothing’s been messed with on here at all and it all just looks uh good and original I’m not sure what this is I’m not a Porsche guy but it looks like maybe there’s a one on each side and there’s supposed to be a chrome piece we’ve been told supposed to go on there you can see the headliner in here is in real good shape but you can also see that it’s got some spots in it and just it’s original headliner windows roll up down good and we have the vent windows right here got a little button on there to lock and open them up and close them down these back windows they they got an over centered lever here so they open up and close and you can latch them down a little bit and just swing back you see we have the defrost lever here and of course you got a light underneath here this is interesting on this light you can shut it off or like right now I got the door open so it’s on but when I shut the door this way it’s off and it’s and it’s off that way we have lights on both sides back here and they work just fine and there’s that turns it on this is for the door and that’s totally off so you can see right now I open the door and it doesn’t work but when I put it in the center here it’s on and I shut the door it’s off so they work the same on both sides wipers are right here actually they’ll work without being on your headlight switch is right here and your horn of course right there we got turn signals that work just fine Joe at Old School Garage did the service and safety check on here the radio does not play and again like I told you earlier the clock does not work now you got a ashtray right here and you can see it just doesn’t work very good I don’t think it’s been used very much in this car at all and the cig lighter it didn’t work I tried it already let’s look in the glove box we got a polishing cloth handbook it’s kind of falling apart a bit but it’s here uh we have fuses we have a tire gauge but also we have the key for the down here on this uh lock so I lied earlier but we got it all that’s good here’s your VIN number right here and you look at this thing I don’t see any taping on here anywhere at all I mean none of this stuff and look at here there’s a little bit of a screw head right here or rivet none of that’s been taped there’s a little crack in the paint I say this is original paint’s never been messed with that’s what I think well of course these porsch they’re got these four-cylinder air cool engines sitting here in the back you can see this cust some exhaust on here comes out the side and again I mentioned we do have the original exhaust for it uh everything looks good underneath here I mean it’s clean you can see it’s been driven it it’s not totally clean I see numbers on here I’m not sure what those numbers are I’m not a Porsche person I like the way the wheels slope in when you put it up on the Hoist and they they slope in uh and you got four-wheel disc brakes on this car so it I mean this car really runs and drives and handles nice I’ve been driving it today and I’ve been having a great time driving it you can see the floor pans are all real good we’ve looked this car over I’ve looked everywhere I’m not found any rust on it yeah I see stuff like this where it’s the undercoating breaking away and stuff but I mean it just there’s no rust in here anywhere floor pans are good and solid again the floor pans everything looks real good on them I just it just solid it’s dirty it’s not it’s not a show car this is more like a Survivor car it’s not totally original but it’s pretty damn close now I told you earlier that the battery box had been replac and that’s what this piece is your battery sits right here and get battery acid in there so that’s the only place I’ve seen bad on here I can see and I did it this morning right here the Chrome’s rubbed off on this bumper guard here I did some this morning uh anyway it just it’s just a nice car under here it looks good it’s been well maintained Joe at Old School Garage told me how to start this car now it’s 6vs so you know they don’t turn over real fast that’s one thing nice about 12vt they swing over anyway to start it when you uh see how it does that but if you step on the gas and open the gas up it’ll start spinning over fast and starts works great [Music] well I hope this looks good to you I sure like driving it there we go up onto I5 northbound so you can get to see how this thing looks going down the freeway [Music] [Music] lot of traffic out here today but we’ll let you get a good look at this thing [Music] anyway think the big truck behind wanted to run over us but that’s okay sure it looking great it’s a neat car I got to tell you if you may if you’re a purist you may not want it but if you want a really nice rust-free Porsche I don’t know where you’re going to find a 356 like this chance to see this the Porsche on this side [Music] [Music] looks good on both sides doesn’t it I like these great country roads you get out on and this thing really is is fun for that can you see yourself bending Corners in this beautiful little car it’d be fun wouldn’t it well we’re back to drager’s clubhouse and I hope you enjoyed the drive in this uh 356 I want to tell you I hope we explained everything and you saw everything well and if you got any questions at all make sure you give us a call at 206 4.68 just lift it up
4.68 again and drop her down now this engine
4.68 compartment is as you can see in the
4.68 engine is very very clean the cases do
4.68 not match so for your Pierce this is not
4.68 going to work for you it also has Weber
4.68 carbs on it the engine has been
4.68 completely rebuilt I don&;t know how many
4.68 miles ago but you can see how clean and
4.68 nice it is and it it&;s got 1,700 heads
4.68 on it now and it just runs
4.68 great to open up the hood you got to
4.68 reach in here underneath the dash and
4.68 there&;s a little lever there to pull
4.68 out so I can open the the
4.68 hood and you got a little safety lever
4.68 right there you got to lift up and this
4.68 works the same as front and back you
4.68 just lift it up and it latches in place
4.68 and you can see it&;s clean in here we&;ve
4.68 got the spare
4.68 tire here with a leather belt I&;m sure
4.68 that&;s a different leather belt than the
4.68 original
4.68 I think this probably lifts out so we
4.68 can see what&;s underneath
4.68 here and you can see there&;s the
4.68 original gas tank as you can see this is
4.68 all the original in Here original
4.68 matting and stuff and there&;s your uh
4.68 plate right here the numbers on it
4.68 Jack here&;s the rest of the Jack
4.68 information here&;s the pad piece to
4.68 slide in to uh put your Jack underneath
4.68 and lift it up and you can see the
4.68 bottom of this is good this piece here
4.68 has been replaced battery acid I&;m sure
4.68 that&;s why it&;s been replaced cuz again
4.68 we couldn&;t find any rust in this car
4.68 anywhere I think you&;d be very happy
4.68 with the condition of this
4.68 car the underside is really clean you
4.68 can see uh just just the way it came in
4.68 of course you saw all this was really
4.68 clean and you saw the original matting
4.68 in there which wasn&;t beautiful but it&;s
4.68 original so this car has really really
4.68 had a good life and they just Lift This
4.68 Hood up and and bring it down and oops
4.68 there we go now it&;s
4.68 shut I just reach underneath the uh Dash
4.68 here in the corner and there&;s a lever
4.68 to open the gas cap you can see right
4.68 there the cap and everything just push
4.68 her back
4.68 down now when I bought this car it had
4.68 high back seats in here and they were
4.68 kind of ugly but but he also had the
4.68 original seats with it and so I had
4.68 these seats the bases all re built and
4.68 and everything and then reupholstered so
4.68 the seats are all like new on here and
4.68 then the steering wheel it had had a
4.68 different steering wheel on it and this
4.68 is the original steering wheel that came
4.68 with a car so it all looks real good and
4.68 of course you can see all the gauges
4.68 crossed here the radio does not work
4.68 clock does not work the heater control
4.68 is right here and it works good I was
4.68 using it we do not have a key for this
4.68 to lock the the uh uh shifter I sure
4.68 wouldn&;t want to ride in here little
4.68 jump
4.68 seats but they&;re there they&;re good I
4.68 don&;t think anything&;s happened to them
4.68 you can just see that&;s all original
4.68 nothing&;s been messed with on here at
4.68 all and it all just looks uh good and
4.68 original I&;m not sure what this is I&;m
4.68 not a Porsche guy but it looks like
4.68 maybe there&;s a one on each side and
4.68 there&;s supposed to be a chrome piece
4.68 we&;ve been told supposed to go on there
4.68 you can see the headliner in here is in
4.68 real good shape but you can also see
4.68 that it&;s got some spots in it and just
4.68 it&;s original
4.68 headliner windows roll up down
4.68 good and we have the vent windows right
4.68 here got a little button on there to
4.68 lock and open them up and close them
4.68 down these back windows they they got an
4.68 over centered lever here
4.68 so they open up and close and you can
4.68 latch them down a little bit and just
4.68 swing
4.68 back you see we have the defrost lever
4.68 here and of course you got a light
4.68 underneath here this is interesting on
4.68 this light you can shut it off or like
4.68 right now I got the door open so it&;s on
4.68 but when I shut the door this way it&;s
4.68 off and it&;s and it&;s off that way we
4.68 have lights on both sides back here and
4.68 they work just fine and there&;s that
4.68 turns it
4.68 on this is for the door and that&;s
4.68 totally off so you can see right now I
4.68 open the door and it doesn&;t work but
4.68 when I put it in the center here it&;s on
4.68 and I shut the door it&;s off so they
4.68 work the same on both
4.68 sides wipers are right
4.68 here actually they&;ll work without being
4.68 on your headlight switch is right here
4.68 and your horn of course right there we
4.68 got turn signals that work just
4.68 fine Joe at Old School Garage did the
4.68 service and safety check on here the
4.68 radio does not play and again like I
4.68 told you earlier the clock does not
4.68 work now you got a ashtray right here
4.68 and you can see it just doesn&;t work
4.68 very good I don&;t think it&;s been used
4.68 very much in this car at all and the cig
4.68 lighter it didn&;t work I tried it
4.68 already let&;s look in the glove box we
4.68 got a polishing
4.68 cloth handbook it&;s kind of falling
4.68 apart a bit but it&;s here uh we have
4.68 fuses we have a tire gauge but also we
4.68 have the key for the down here on this
4.68 uh lock so I lied earlier but we got it
4.68 all that&;s
4.68 good here&;s your VIN number right here
4.68 and you look at this thing I don&;t see
4.68 any taping on here anywhere at all I
4.68 mean none of this stuff and look at here
4.68 there&;s a little bit of a screw head
4.68 right here or rivet none of that&;s been
4.68 taped there&;s a little crack in the
4.68 paint I say this is original paint&;s
4.68 never been messed with that&;s what I
4.68 think well of course these porsch
4.68 they&;re got these four-cylinder air cool
4.68 engines sitting here in the back you can
4.68 see this cust some exhaust on here comes
4.68 out the side and again I mentioned we do
4.68 have the original exhaust for it uh
4.68 everything looks good underneath here I
4.68 mean it&;s clean you can see it&;s been
4.68 driven it it&;s not totally clean I see
4.68 numbers on here I&;m not sure what those
4.68 numbers are I&;m not a Porsche person I
4.68 like the way the wheels slope in when
4.68 you put it up on the Hoist and they they
4.68 slope in uh and you got four-wheel disc
4.68 brakes on this car so it I mean this car
4.68 really runs and drives and handles nice
4.68 I&;ve been driving it today and I&;ve been
4.68 having a great time driving it you can
4.68 see the floor pans are all real good
4.68 we&;ve looked this car over I&;ve looked
4.68 everywhere I&;m not found any rust on it
4.68 yeah I see stuff like this where it&;s
4.68 the undercoating breaking away and stuff
4.68 but I mean it just there&;s no rust in
4.68 here anywhere floor pans are good and
4.68 solid again the floor pans everything
4.68 looks real good on them I just it just
4.68 solid it&;s dirty it&;s not it&;s not a
4.68 show car this is more like a Survivor
4.68 car it&;s not totally original but it&;s
4.68 pretty damn
4.68 close now I told you earlier that the
4.68 battery box had been replac and that&;s
4.68 what this piece is your battery sits
4.68 right here and get battery acid in there
4.68 so that&;s the only place I&;ve seen bad
4.68 on here I can see and I did it this
4.68 morning right here the Chrome&;s rubbed
4.68 off on this bumper guard here I did some
4.68 this morning uh anyway it just it&;s just
4.68 a nice car under here it looks good it&;s
4.68 been well maintained
4.68 Joe at Old School Garage told me how to
4.68 start this car now it&;s 6vs so you know
4.68 they don&;t turn over real fast that&;s
4.68 one thing nice about 12vt they swing
4.68 over anyway to start it when you
4.68 uh see how it does that but if you step
4.68 on the gas and open the gas up it&;ll
4.68 start spinning over fast and starts
4.68 works great
4.68 [Music]
4.68 well I hope this looks good to you I
4.68 sure like driving
4.68 it there we go up onto I5
4.68 northbound so you can get to see how
4.68 this thing looks going down the freeway
4.68 [Music]
4.68 [Music]
4.68 lot of traffic out here today but we&;ll
4.68 let you get a good look at this thing
4.68 [Music]
4.68 anyway think the big truck behind wanted
4.68 to run over us but that&;s okay
4.68 sure it looking great it&;s a neat car I
4.68 got to tell you if you may if you&;re a
4.68 purist you may not want it but if you
4.68 want a really nice rust-free Porsche I
4.68 don&;t know where you&;re going to find a
4.68 356 like
4.68 this chance to see this the Porsche on
4.68 this side
4.68 [Music]
4.68 [Music]
4.68 looks good on both sides doesn&;t it I
4.68 like these great country roads you get
4.68 out on and this thing really is is fun
4.68 for
4.68 that can you see yourself bending
4.68 Corners in this beautiful little car
