Retranscription des paroles de la vidéo: what up world I’m excited to tell you about a project that I’ve been working on so in October of 2022 I went to Carson California for the Uso 30th Anniversary uh I was I flew in Friday and then it was Friday Saturday and Sunday and then I left on Sunday uh Friday was kind of getting acclimated and then there was also a cruise to Hollywood uh on Saturday there was a Gala and then there was just shooting non-stop all day and then Sunday was a park in El Dorado in Long Beach so I have my photo book that I put together um so I’ve actually this is my first print so I’m really excited I collect Lowrider magazines as you guys can see around not only Lowrider magazines I mean look I got Centerfolds first edition Boulevard Premiere Edition lowrider scene first edition traditional low riding first edition next song For Life first edition lowrider bicycle first edition you know I got a little Rider magazine too let me not even stress that that’s over here too hold on look at that I mean this is a repop but still first edition um kind of first issue I guess but I love to collect first editions and I have my own first edition of my own published work so I’m really excited now I know some people take a different approach to everybody wants to go magazine I try to create a coffee style book um I actually I like what Bethel was doing uh with Centerfolds I think I like his 12×12 I think the page quality is really good and it’s a real good coffee book and I remember when I first saw it I was like wow this guy’s really doing something so I was kind of inspired to do something a little bit more along those lines to kind of create a coffee book not really much text um I mean it’s just essentially a photo book I had a couple options that I was giving to people um I was I’m wrapping them up because they were actually ready to go out there’s an eight by eight soft cover and then there’s a 10 by 10 that’s a hard cover a 10 by 10 you get your name on the side so the eight by eight there just wasn’t enough room so you can’t I’m including a couple photos but I want to share some of my photo work with you now I put images online like you can see it on Instagram but they’re all down rest and if you don’t understand what Don res did sometimes you’ll see banding in the coloring and I would never print one of those photos like even if it’s your car I’m telling you please just message me and I’ll shoot you an actual high-res photo because there’s just certain attributes that are lost when you upload online to like you know social media platforms like YouTube obviously YouTube like Facebook and Instagram um it’s just the quality is not there and if you want to actually do a good print just message me man I’ll send it to you no issue man I like to see my work I’m at a point in my life I mean I’m not really profiting off of any of this I mean I’m trying to share my story I mean I’m based out of Ohio dog so I just want to share my story of being a low rider and a low rider photographer um and how I’m doing you know this is my first print book I’m really excited and I want to share it with you so uh let’s get into it so I’m excited to share this book with you this was that Friday night when we got to Carson um this is actually keita’s house the whole thing around this 30th Anniversary was going back to the roots and it felt right to go back to the roots to go back to where Uso started so that was that Friday night this was while we were cruising right before we were explained about how we should try to stick together in the location of where we were heading to um with this one I tried to capture 57s I wish I would have captured the front end of this one uh to make it really symmetrical but got some pretty good shots with this one I actually was in Carson yesterday and I drove past this 76 on the freeway and man it just yeah just reminiscing I remember shooting these cars there and everybody gathering here and it was just a beautiful event to have everybody there and that’s kind of a similar thing that’s going on right now because I have everybody’s book here that I’m about to send out I just wanted to share um kind of the progress of everything you know um this was just a great overall weekend and um I I’m very honored that I was able to capture it um so I look forward to doing more events like this this was a there was a Gala there was a lot of cruising so I tried to mix up kind of a lot of the the cars and the people and then this was at El Dorado that Sunday a nice scoop photo there was several photographers there so I understand it was kind of confusing I had I think this was my drone and then I think dream on and then there was a couple other homies there that were trying to shoot but you got some people looking at every single camera there’s multiple cameras so still a beautiful day man um I try to shoot everything man everybody that was there I tried to grab a photo of because this is almost like a yearbook except for it was a three-day yearbook you know 30 years of three years essentially but um I wanted to really capture this weekend I didn’t want to leave anybody out um great weekend overall um yeah it was definitely an honor to be there I mean I grew up on Lowrider magazine based out of Ohio and to be invited to capture this when there’s so many other people that I feel like could have done it um I’m honored to be honest so uh I just wanted to share that with you guys I mean typically I talk more hydraulic based off and you know but this is something that I’ve been working on uh I do shoot photography so I mean this is my photo book you can check out some of my stuff on Instagram um but to have actual high quality print is definitely nice I’m not gonna lie I think I’m gonna try to do more prints moving forward but it is expensive because these are essentially just wedding books uh wedding photography books I mean so they’re they’re paid stock is definitely higher quality than a typical magazine and that even goes with the eight by eight the eight byte is the soft cover but it is a nice quality print you know at the back of the book I have my heroes media sticker and then I have this sticker from when I was a ute you know I started low riding uh early 2000s you know born in 90s so when I was able to get a bike and get a little bit of fetty you know uh grab the bike and and you know used to cruise and run them up in the city I started with lowrider bike magazine and Low Rider bike magazine there was always Uso bikes and I never really put two and two together but Uso was really young at the early birth of the lowrider bicycle magazine because I started in 93 you know and Uso started in 92 so to see bikes in the magazine that early it was always nice and I mean I like bikes that came out of Uso like sweet and sour and there’s there’s several other bikes that uh that really set the bar for the the bike building and it’s always nice to see man it was a great honor to be included to this I look forward to doing more events like this more prints I just want to say thank you to everybody that was there that weekend even for watching man uh if you made it to this part of the video man if I was from moose off buy one .
