Retranscription des paroles de la vidéo: [Music] [Music] [Music] hello [Music] thanks BR to welcom us here you’re welcome uh where are we is that a factory or you call it tomorrow Workshop yeah we are currently standing in our production facility as we call it this is where we build our cars uh and where the the head office of Krum cars is so if you had to to define the uh the Catan DNA what would you say for me it’s about fun it’s about exhilaration it’s about power to weight it’s lightweight and and it’s about enjoyment and and for me it’s important to see customers having a smile on the face I want to see someone sit in a car go for a drive and come out be smiling because it’s the best thing they’ve done under big range of ceran um do you have a preferred one uh if you had to pick just one uh that is a difficult one the 355 which I think you’re going to test is a very nice model in the middle of the range I personally own uh a 620 uh and I track that uh and I love that because it’s so fast uh I’m not a good driver uh but it flatters me it makes me look fast um I think the the best one is the 355 in the middle of the range but if you want outright power and flattering your driving skills the 620 is the one except the actual range if you have to pick your dream car maybe outside the C range or some which one would you pick uh I have to say for me my dream car would be uh a coing Sig it’s just fantastic the tech the technical detail that goes into it the look of the car that would be where I would go unfortunately that’s many many many many moons away from me when we’re working for cat RM what kind of car we have as a daily car when I was in charge of Formula 1 which I was for a year or two uh I was traveling between here and Oxford which is 150 Mi away so I I drive a diesel BMW as my dayc car um I also have I’m privileged to have um an Audi R8 spider in my garage so that comes out for uh for weekends when the sun shining in in the UK which is not very often but yeah so so that’s my dayc cars I got a diesel BMW an Audi R and I’ve got my 620 cater uh you’re going to put us someday more uh exclusive extravagan car more than the 620r or you think you reach the top of the performance I would love to be able to produce something like the 620r in Europe because of course the uh the rules around small Series in Europe only allows us to produce the 485 uh which is 240 horsepower I’d love to be able to see if there’s any way we could push that a little bit higher for our European customers uh it’s very very difficult um but that’s what I’d like to do and you will have seen recently we launched the Sprint which was a a trip back in time to more of a Heritage Vibe I think we’re probably at a limit in the UK of of the 620 I don’t think there’s need to go any faster because that is a a very very fast car um I would love to be able to do something in Europe to to bring the horsepower up another 60 or 70 horsepower um and maybe who knows in the future we might be able to do that uh but it’s more for us now about the the essence of Kum going back to Our Roots celebrating 60 years uh and offering we just launched Krum signature so we’re offering bespoke packages to our customers and that for me is a future of caterin how many cars do you sell a year and is this year a good year we aim to sell about 500 cars a year um this year that’s just finished for us our financial year we sold 504 so that was a good year for us we we’ve had a little bit of um turmoil uh uh an upset uh in the last probably 2 or 3 years ago exiting Formula 1 uh the Renault joint venture that that ceased um so what we’ve focused on as a management team is to try and drive the core product forward get it to a level that we can produce cars make money and uh run a successful business we’re at that stage now so 500 cars does that next year we’re in the middle of budget process as we talk and we’re aiming for 540 cars next year if we could get to maybe 600 cars a year year I’d have a very very successful business at 540 cars a year it’s uh it’s making good money but at 600 it would be really good we’re restricted by size um we’re also restricted by a number of our suppliers because we are nearly 60 years old we still have suppliers that started with US 60 years ago and they they’re restricted on Supply levels just now our order book is nearly 10 months long if a customer walks into a showroom now to buy a car um they’re not likely to get delivery until September next year which of course for the customer base it can be a little bit long but that’s the sort of thing we’re working on now that’s what we’re concentrating on as a business we’ve got rid of Formula 1 the Renault deal fell away unfortunately so now we can focus on this business and that’s where we’re aiming for how would you define the uh the the Target customer the typical C customer H that’s a very interesting question and and I think there are are two types of customers um what we tend to find is you you have the customers who cherish the cars uh they won’t necessarily go for the high power they will they will buy uh maybe middle of the range maybe our our Suzuki engine 160 the sort of customer that probably buys um the Sprint that we launched for the 60th anniversary and they will bring that out they will clean it they will polish it uh they will take it out on a on a a weekend when the Sun’s shining and then it’ll go back in the garage and be kept and then we have the other type of customer who perhaps is quite affluent um who has a collection of 911s Ferraris maybe his day car is a a Bentley or something like that and he will have a a 620 or a 485 in his garage because he wants to do track you know he’s got a nice powerful range of cars that he can uh show off when he wants to go through the city center but actually he wants to do track work and he buys a catr for that so so that’s the two type of customers I think we have there’s the ones that like the hyper cuz they want to go track um track driving and then there’s the guys that look after the car and will own it for a number of years actually we see lots of uh manufacturers and premium and sports car manufacturers doing some SUVs yes what would you think about it would you think going to do SUV sometime well we ventured into that territory a couple of years ago when we when we had the joint venture with Renault sadly as as I stand here now that was something we looked at but as we stand here at this current moment in time it’s not something K will be doing we we have come out of Formula 1 we came out of the Renault joint venture and we’re now just focusing on on the seven and getting the product range right and the quality and the the smiles if you like right the the the feeling and our customer experience right that’s what we’re aiming for now so there’ll be no SUV in the future for Krum please do not make any SUV yeah we’ll leave that to Jaguar landr Lexus Maserati everyone else yeah so if you have to say something to the French market and to the French customer what would you say well uh I have to say I am very very pleased with the French market so so thank you very much first of all to all my customers uh you are now the second largest market for catm cars um this year we have sold uh over 100 cars into France um so that’s 20% of our total production um and you’ve over Tak in Japan as the second largest market our core Market is still the UK we still sell over 200 units in the UK um so I’d like to say to my French customers please carry on enjoying the car I hope we’re giving you what you want um and I always happy to hear back through my dealers what the feedback and what our customers are saying about the product you know I would love to continue to grow the French Market we have a great relationship with our French customers we’ve been selling into France for many many years and long may it continue you have to sum up K in one word or two words what would you say but one more one word brilliant perfect brilant okay perfect thank you easy well thank you no you’re welcome you’re welcome [Music] yeah [Music] fore new thank 0.59 it&;ll go back in the garage and be kept

0.59 customer who perhaps is quite affluent
0.59 um who has a collection of 911s Ferraris
0.59 maybe his day car is a a Bentley or
0.59 something like that and he will have a a

0.59 wants to do track you know he&;s got a

0.59 and premium and sports car manufacturers
0.59 doing some SUVs yes what would you think
0.59 about
0.59 it would you think going to do SUV
0.59 sometime well we ventured into that
0.59 territory a couple of years ago when we
0.59 when we had the joint venture with
0.59 Renault sadly as as I stand here now
0.59 that was something we looked at but as
0.59 we stand here at this current moment in
0.59 time it&;s not something K will be doing
0.59 we we have come out of Formula 1 we came

0.59 we&;re now just focusing on on the seven
0.59 and getting the product range right and
0.59 the quality and the the smiles if you

0.59 we&;re aiming for now so there&;ll be no
0.59 SUV in the future for Krum please do not
0.59 make any SUV yeah we&;ll leave that to
0.59 Jaguar landr Lexus Maserati everyone
0.59 else yeah so if you have to say
0.59 something to the French market and to
0.59 the French customer what would you say
0.59 well uh I have to say I am very very
0.59 pleased with the French market so so
0.59 thank you very much first of all to all
0.59 my customers uh you are now the second
0.59 largest market for catm cars um this
0.59 year we have sold uh over 100 cars into
